We had to walk up all those stairs!!

This was my favorite tree in Grandma's backyard!! :)
We went on the best Summer vacation to Oregon! Steve's grandma lives on a beautiful berry farm in Woodburn (about 30 miles south of Portland). She has a large lake in her backyard that the girls absolutely loved! They paddle-boated every day looking for fish and frogs and catching huge bullfrog tadpoles.
One of the days we went out to the coast in Newport. See the cool pictures of the rocky shore, ocean, and the way cool century-old lighthouse. Of course, it was quite chilly on the coast (about 60 degrees), but we felt right at home after living in Idaho for so long and having crazy long winters and a late Spring this year! We also went to the Oregon aquarium where we saw the largest crabs in the world (Asian Spiders Crabs) and walked through glass tunnels with sharks swimming around us. The girls had the time of their lives!
We also went to the Enchanted Forest, a theme park built into the side of a mountain surrounded by a beautiful green canopy forest. What a great place!
It was really sad to leave because we felt right at home there at Grandma's house. It was kind of like having to leave the garden of Eden! Anyway, we arrived home safely and are already planning to go back!!
